Dillon Gage Metals has been one of the largest precious metals wholesale trading firms for more than forty years. As an authorized purchaser from the world’s major mints, security was of the upmost importance when selecting a general contractor for the build-out of their new distribution center in Dallas, Texas.
As a first-generation finish-out in the city of Dallas, Scott + Reid worked diligently to follow the Green Building initiative guidelines, while keeping pace with the accelerated project schedule. With the additional complexity of adding new utility services, Scott + Reid provided consistent communication with building management, in addition to informing the surrounding tenants of noisy work, in an effort to avoid interruption to their normal business operations.
The finished 37,877-square-foot industrial space features a sophisticated security system, vaults, multiple offices, a break room, and conference rooms. Scott + Reid was able to meet this client’s needs by merging multiple facilities into one location for all of their storage and fulfillment, better serving their clients.
