Scott + Reid was selected by Parmenter Realty Partners to perform numerous capital improvements for Mandalay Towers, a three-building Class A office complex located in the heart of the Las Colinas Urban Center.
Project work in Mandalay Tower 2 includes renovations to the main lobby; incorporating a new reception desk, seating areas, and a lounge component with new furniture and pendant light fixtures. Upgrades to tenant amenities involved an overhaul to the fitness center, including the addition of locker rooms and showers, and a new conference center/training room. In Mandalay Tower 3, Scott + Reid removed the original dark granite in the lobby and reconfigured it, carving out a tenant lounge and giving the building a boutique feel. Additional work in both towers consisted of refreshes to elevator lobbies, elevator doors, corridors and restrooms.
Performing work in an occupied building required Scott + Reid to work closely with building management to limit disruption to tenants while working in high traffic areas. It was critical to have a safe, clean jobsite and adequate signage directing tenants around the construction areas.
In addition to the capital improvement work, Scott + Reid performed multiple tenant interior renovations, including multiple floors for Trend Micro and General Motors.
