Scott + Reid partnered with Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, for the remodel of their corporate headquarters at Mandalay Towers in Las Colinas. Initially contracted to perform improvements on a single floor, Scott + Reid was awarded three additional floors for remodel after successful completion of the original project. Unique, premium finishes are found throughout the 102,500-square-foot space, including a living wall, Tatami room, and custom millwork ceilings.
Each floor required a complete demolition, including HVAC systems, and the subsequent build back involved the installation of new ductwork and AC units. The Tatami room is a 5,000-square-foot space comprised of hand-made wood window coverings and grass cloth mats imported from Japan.
The design includes industrial elements, open to deck ceilings, TRU PC polished concrete, stone accents and back-painted glass throughout. Amenities spaces such as break rooms, cafés, and game rooms as well as huddle rooms and customer facing spaces, emphasize the collaborative work environment.
