Scherer Investments partnered with Scott + Reid to bring Preston Legacy—a 3.1-acre commercial development at the high-traffic intersection of Preston Road and Legacy Drive in Plano—to life. Designed to attract retail, medical, and service-based tenants, the project includes two 15,000-square-foot shell buildings built with long-term leasing value and customer experience in mind.

The buildings feature elevated design elements like custom cast stone, decorative balconies, curved masonry walls, and prominent storefront entries—creating a welcoming, high-visibility presence for tenants looking to stand out in a competitive market.

To ensure the site was truly move-in ready, Scott + Reid also delivered complete infrastructure and site improvements: new utilities, sidewalks, landscaping, a dumpster enclosure, and a 139-space parking lot with direct customer access.

A curved building footprint allowed the team to preserve the site’s existing circular drive and fountain while maximizing leasable space and parking—a thoughtful design decision that blends function with curb appeal.
