Minneapolis-based Blu Dot, known for its modern, thoughtfully designed furniture, selected Scott + Reid to build its first and only Dallas store—positioned near Highland Park and Uptown, one of the city’s most vibrant retail corridors.
This 9,600-square-foot ground-up flagship was designed to reflect Blu Dot’s clean, creative aesthetic while supporting product visibility and sales. Key elements include a floating staircase, polished concrete floors, and a sculptural oak slat wall that frames curated room vignettes across two levels. Open-to-deck ceilings and natural light from expansive windows and skylights create an inviting, gallery-like showroom experience.
Working from the ground up, Scott + Reid delivered a retail space that balances bold design with operational efficiency—helping Blu Dot stand out in a competitive, style-savvy market.
