This ground-up retail project features a durable split-faced CMU shell with a clean, modern veneer that reflects Discount Tire’s recognizable brand standards. Inside, the store is designed for efficiency with a full mechanical shop, a second-floor mezzanine for storage, a welcoming customer lobby, private office space, two restrooms, and dedicated inventory and service areas. The shop includes specialized zones for tire receiving, equipment storage, and storm-safe protection, all built to support high-volume daily operations.
One of the most critical elements of the build was the slab. Discount Tire facilities require a perfectly level, highly polished surface that can withstand heavy equipment and constant workflow. Scott + Reid coordinated laser screed technology and skilled trade partners to achieve the exact levelness and finish required for long-term performance.
