Flying Fish brought their beloved seafood shack concept to the lakefront at Cypress Waters—and turned to Scott + Reid to build it from the ground up.

Designed for a laid-back, high-volume dining experience, the new restaurant blends relaxed style with practical performance. The full-service kitchen and walk-up ordering counter are supported by durable finishes, high ceilings, and an open floor plan that keeps traffic flowing. Bright interiors combine warm wood, tile, and metal to reflect the brand’s signature fishing-lodge vibe.

Set along the edge of North Lake, the site presented a unique challenge: building partially over water. Our team handled the specialized construction—coordinating utility installation from floating barges—without missing a beat. Today, the wraparound patio and natural-light-filled dining space deliver one of the most scenic meals in Dallas.

From kitchen to curbside, Scott + Reid built this destination to perform—serving up the kind of casual, comfortable experience Flying Fish fans love.
