Freese and Nichols, a leading architecture and engineering firm, partnered with Scott + Reid to remodel their 72,236-square-foot headquarters across five floors in Fort Worth’s Burnett Plaza. The space was designed to reflect the firm’s legacy while supporting the needs of a modern, collaborative workforce.
The layout includes private and open offices, training areas, conference rooms, and vibrant employee spaces like lounges and a game room. Design highlights feature glass office fronts, sound-dampening ceilings, polished concrete and stone flooring, and a striking 50-foot custom mural. Custom millwork and restored architectural drawers from their previous space bring added character and continuity.
As a long-standing partner to AEC firms, Scott + Reid understands how to deliver workspaces that meet the high standards of those who design them. This headquarters project is one of several Scott + Reid has completed for Freese and Nichols across Texas, including offices in Dallas, Frisco, and Houston.
