Scott + Reid completed a major renovation and expansion for Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Spring, Texas, transforming approximately 90,000 square feet to support worship, ministry, fellowship, and community use.
The Houston-area expansion included a larger front façade, new gathering areas, exterior improvements, and expanded site amenities as part of the church’s long-term master plan. Interior renovations added a fully updated sanctuary, expanded ministry and classroom areas, student ministry space, and a flexible event center for worship, athletics, concerts, presentations, and community events. The sanctuary features advanced audiovisual infrastructure designed for contemporary worship, live music, video, and presentations, along with a new baptismal pool and platform. Kids World provides a dedicated environment for children’s ministry, while expanded gathering areas create additional capacity for the congregation.
Careful phasing allowed the church to remain operational throughout construction, with worship services and ministry programs continuing during the work. The completed campus gives Oak Ridge Baptist Church greater flexibility to serve its congregation and community while supporting future growth. The work reflects Scott + Reid’s experience in Houston church construction, sanctuary renovations, worship spaces, and religious facilities.
