Scott + Reid delivered a 113,033-square-foot headquarters buildout for Sally Beauty Holdings at Liberty Mutual Tower in Plano, Texas. Spanning four floors, this Class A office project reflects the energy, creativity, and scale of a global beauty brand.
More than a traditional corporate office, the space functions as a fully integrated headquarters environment. It includes open workspaces, executive offices, employee retail stores that showcase real-world merchandising, a full-service salon for product testing and training, and a centralized mailroom supporting national marketing efforts. Each floor carries a distinct identity, brought to life through bold graphics, vibrant finishes, and branded wayfinding. A continuous visual story unfolds throughout the space, culminating in a multi-level feature wall along the monument staircase inspired by the movement and texture of hair, tying the brand directly into the architecture.
The monument staircase serves as the centerpiece, connecting four floors and anchoring the headquarters visually and physically. Constructed with AESS steel, the stair required complex structural coordination, including multi-floor slab openings and carbon fiber reinforcement to maintain structural integrity.
