Scott + Reid Helps Blu Dot Make Its Dallas Debut

Blu Dot, a Minneapolis-based furniture store, delayed its Dallas debut until it could secure a spot in the Knox Street area. “Furniture has been a legacy for Knox Street since locally owned Weir’s opened there in 1948.” Blu Dot was founded in 1997 by two architects and a sculptor with $50,000 who wanted to design furniture. The company now has eleven stores in the US, two in Mexico and one in Australia.

Dallas architects Far+Dang designed the new space for Blu Dot, and Scott + Reid is proud to have been chosen as the general contractor for the new construction and interior finish-out of the 9,600-square-foot location on Knox Street.
