Scott + Reid Project Featured in D CEO: Building Polsinelli’s New Dallas Office at Old Parkland

 

We’re proud to share that our recent law firm office build-out for Polsinelli—a national Am Law 100 firm—was recently featured in D CEO’s Behind the Deal. This 45,000-square-foot interior construction project, located in the heart of Dallas at the prestigious Old Parkland East campus, was designed to reflect the firm’s tradition of excellence while embracing a modern, collaborative way of working.

 

As a leading commercial general contractor in Dallas, Scott + Reid was entrusted with executing a highly customized legal workspace under a fast-tracked schedule. From polished granite reception surfaces and engraved wood wall panels to a dome ceiling feature and high-end sound masking, this was a first-generation office space built to impress and perform.

 

Elevating the Law Office Experience

 

Polsinelli’s relocation from Harwood to Old Parkland was both strategic and symbolic. The firm sought a space that honored its national reputation while providing attorneys and clients with a welcoming, high-functioning environment. Designed by Hufft, the office features glass-fronted private offices, custom millwork, and integrated legal technology that supports privacy, productivity, and professionalism.

 

“When we looked at the Dallas market, picking an office that was more of a campus community and had amenities we thought would appeal to associates and partners, was crucial,” said Brian Bullard, the partner-in-charge of Polsinelli’s Dallas office.

 

A focal point of the build is the architecturally complex dome ceiling feature in the lobby. Initially designed to be suspended with aircraft cable, the dome was reengineered by our team to install via a hard-deck system—saving valuable time while preserving design intent. We also managed the fabrication and installation of engraved wall panels that align precisely with glass partitions—requiring detailed coordination between out-of-state vendors and local millworkers.

 

Fast-Tracked Legal Office Construction with Zero Compromise

 

The project kicked off in November 2024 and was turned over in May 2025, meeting the client’s aggressive timeline without sacrificing craftsmanship. Coordinating national and local vendors under strict site protocols posed unique challenges. We navigated the logistics of working at Old Parkland—including craning oversized glass panels into place—and maintained momentum with weekly coordination meetings across millwork, finishes, and specialty systems.

 

The earliest finish elements—like the custom dome and engraved paneling—were among the most intricate, requiring exact measurements, specialty fabrication, and precise on-site execution. Certified trades were also brought in to apply specialty acoustic treatments and complete the advanced sound masking system, critical to the performance of any modern law office.
